Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 October 2026

This policy explains how Creator Authority, part of the Billion Dollar Boy group ("Creator Authority", "we", "us"), collects and uses personal information when you visit creatorauthority.com, contact us, apply to work with us as a creator, or work with us as a client or partner. Please read it alongside any terms that apply to our services.

1. Who we are

Creator Authority is an influencer and creator marketing agency for B2B brands. We are part of the Billion Dollar Boy group of companies ("BDB"). For the purposes of UK and EU data protection law, Creator Authority is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. Some processing is carried out with, or on behalf of, other BDB companies, including Billion Dollar Boy Limited (registered in England and Wales, company number 08031315, First Floor, Bedford House, 21a John Street, London WC1N 2BF).

Questions about this policy can be sent to privacy@billiondollarboy.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details and messages you send through our forms, email or LinkedIn, such as your name, company, job title, email address and what you would like to discuss.
  • Creator applications, such as your name, contact details, social profile links, audience and rate information, and anything else you choose to share.
  • Information needed to run a business relationship, such as billing details, contracts and campaign correspondence.

Information we collect automatically

  • Technical information about your visit, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring site, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 7).

Information from other sources

  • Publicly available information about creators, such as profile details, published content and audience statistics, used to identify creators who may suit a brand campaign.
  • Information from clients, partners and service providers we work with, including creator search and measurement tools.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to enquiries and provide our services.
  • To identify, contact and work with creators on brand campaigns, and to match creators with suitable opportunities.
  • To plan, run, measure and report on campaigns for our clients.
  • To manage contracts, payments and our business relationships.
  • To send updates you have asked for. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To understand how our website is used and improve it.
  • To keep our website and systems secure, and to meet our legal obligations.

4. Legal bases (UK and EU visitors)

We rely on one or more of the following: performing a contract with you or taking steps at your request before entering one; complying with a legal obligation; our legitimate interests in running and growing an agency that connects brands with creators, where those interests are not overridden by your rights (much of the creator information we use is published by creators for professional and marketing purposes); and your consent, for example for non-essential cookies or marketing emails. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

5. Who we share information with

  • Other companies in the BDB group, to deliver services and run our business.
  • Brand clients, where you are a creator being considered for or taking part in a campaign.
  • Service providers who help us operate, such as hosting, form, email, CRM, analytics and creator discovery tools. They may only use your information to provide services to us.
  • Professional advisers, and a buyer or successor if all or part of our business is sold or reorganised.
  • Authorities or others where required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the public.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. International transfers

We work across the United States, the United Kingdom and other markets, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live. Where UK or EU data is transferred to a country without an adequacy decision, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

7. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work. Where we use analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent where the law requires it, and you can change your choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

8. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements, or to resolve disputes. We decide retention periods based on the type and sensitivity of the information and the risk of harm from unauthorised use.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We have procedures to deal with suspected data breaches and will notify you and regulators where the law requires.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information; to object to or restrict our use of it; to data portability; to withdraw consent; and to opt out of marketing. To make a request, email privacy@billiondollarboy.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

If you are in the UK, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). If you are in the EU, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

11. US state privacy rights

If you live in California or another US state with a consumer privacy law, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to access, correct and delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You can make a request, or have an authorised agent make one for you, by emailing privacy@billiondollarboy.com.

12. Children

Our website and services are intended for professionals and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
